dc.description.abstractENGLISH ABSTRACT: Clergymen in active service often find themselves in a situation where a church member asks for pastoral guidance within the context of a relationship crisis. As a result of their training at Theological Faculties based on a kerugmatic paradigm and their experience of psychology at an undergraduate levels casts doubt on the ability of the minister to adequately provide adequate pastoral guidance in this situation.
