Abstract
The CRASH Trial (Corticosteroid Randomisation
after Significant Head injury) is a large-scale randomised
controlled trial, among adults with head injury and impaired
consciousness, of the effects of a short-term infusion of
corticosteroids on death and on neurological disability.
