This task is done by making reference to appropriate ethical and legal frameworks. While additional training may be needed to gain familiarity with these frameworks, it is not necessary for practicing healthcare professionals to be expert in these fields. This article focuses on the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on surgical registrars, their education and training and proposes ideas on how to get through this major disruption.
